Fall/Winter 2007 Runway Show and After-Party
(February 6, 2007)
The
Heatherette
show is apparently one of the more sought after tickets to covet,
due less to the 'fashion fowardness' of the clothes, but more
for the overall histrionics of the event as a whole. Richie
Rich and Traver Rains definitely put
on a show, filled with outrageous clothes, blasting music, funky
models, and a sprinkling of celebrities on (Lydia Hearst
and Kimora Lee Simmons) and off (JC
Chasez, Vivica A. Fox, Russell
Simmons, Alan Cumming, among others)
the runway.
The
show is so popular that it almost caused a riot scene (and a
definite fire hazard) outside of the Bryant Park Tents as a
single girl with a single list was letting single people in,
very very very slowly.

After-Party
(February 6, 2007)
Heatherette's after party seemed like it was open to the public,
which translated into mass chaos at the doors of Roseland Ballroom.
Not amusing. I'm surprised they didn't break out the riot gear.
The after party featured a performance by Danity Kane,
which appears to be a carbon copy of the Pussycat Dolls, which
is a knock-off of the Spice Girls, which is... well, you get
the idea.
